Anita Roman McLaughlin, Program Associate, joined the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) in February of 2012. At WYCF, Anita oversees all competitive grantmaking and oversees scholarship funds that are placed with the foundation. Anita has worked closely with WYCF grantees and attends grantmaking meetings throughout the state to better understand the needs of Wyoming communities. Since her joining the team, she has witnessed the grantmaking increase from 3.8 million to 8.3 million as of 2018. Anita was born and raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation and is Northern Arapaho and Hispanic. She graduated from Central Wyoming Community College with an A.S. in General Studies and went onto the University of Wyoming where she earned her B.S. in Physiology, and her B.A. in Psychology. Anita is married with two children and enjoys all of Wyoming’s amenities from the beautiful rustic downtown's to the cold mountain mornings.
