Under the new education law, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), states have spent much of the last year preparing new state plans with new indicators of student and school success. In this workshop, attendees will be able to look at Wyoming's plan and map out how their 21st CCLC, afterschool, and summer programs build into the states accountability and support systems in Title I, and can be combined with Title II, Title IVA and more. The workshop will conclude with general advocacy approaches to continue to build access and opportunities for afterschool.
