Introduction to Wyoming Program Quality Practices (PQPs)
In this session, attendees will learn about the development of the Wyoming Program Quality Practices (PQPs) which were developed by a statewide team of afterschool providers. We will discuss the importance of this tool and strategies to use them as a part of a larger quality improvement system which defines, assesses and supports quality. PQPs are a framework for school-age afterschool and youth development programs that provide a common understanding of the essential components of quality practice in afterschool and youth development programs.
